在前往任何英语系国家求学、移民或长期工作时，我们必须通过一项由剑桥大学 (University of Cambridge)英语考试院、British Council 和 IDP教育机构所设计的国际英语测验系统－IELTS (The International English Language Testing System)，专门评估申请者们的听、说、读、写四项全方位英语的沟通能力。

什么是 IELTS 呢？

​IELTS 是国际英语语言测验（International English Language Testing System）的简称，这是受国际认可的英语能力标准检定。本研究由英国文化协会（BC），剑桥大学考试委员会（UCLES）和澳大利亚教育国际开发署（IDP）共同举办，其中剑桥大学负责有关学术水平及试题内容，而IDP及英国文化协会负责于世界各地定期举办考试。

​雅思考试分为两个组别，学术组（Academic）及一般暨移民组（General Training）。学术组适合前往英语系国家求学者，考试内容有部分偏重学术技巧；一般暨移民组则计划到海外工作或是到移民者。考试内容涵盖听，说，读，写四个项目，测验时间约需3个小时，包含15分钟的口说测验。考试被区分为两个阶段，第一个阶段三项的笔试，第二个阶段则是口说测验。通常口试会被安排在笔试当天的下午或是隔天受测。

那么你一定在想，IELTS 和 TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) 有什么不一样呢？其实很简单哦！TOEFL广泛适用于北美国家如美国、加拿大、墨西哥等等；而 IELTS 主要适用于英联国家如英国、澳洲、纽西兰港、新加坡等等。

JB General English Language Course (Skudai/ JB Downtown/ Kulai/ Mount Austin)

TOUCH LEARNING & EDU ADVISORY (JOHOR BAHRU)

This is a 1 – 3 months Intensive English Course designed for learners to learn and covers the necessary major language skills including: grammar, vocabulary, conversation/ speaking, pronunciation, listening, reading, comprehension and writing.
Learners who undergo this course will attend either 6-12 lessons (9-18 hours) per week from Tuesday to Sunday with 1.5-3 hours per day, depending on learner's learning capability and level.

What is this programme?
This programme is an English course, carefully designed and planned for young children in improving their English foundation and also to prepare to take a Cambridge YLE Test.
- aged 6 years and above
- has little or basic foundation in English
- is ready to learn English at an International Level
- at the end of this course, young learners will sit for a Cambridge Examination.

What is taught in this programme?
This course is designed to inculcate the fundamentals in English for young children
- listening, speaking, reading and writing skills
- motivates your child to learn English
- gives your child a good foundation in English
- your child will be rewarded with an Internationally recognized certificate

What type of materials are used in this programme?
We adopt 100% titles from the OXFORD University Press which has been specially designed for Children taking a Cambridge Young Learners’ course.

What can I as a parent expect to see at the end of this programme?
We adopt a ‘Can Do’ skills in our teachings which focuses on improving in the 4 aspects of English (Listening, Reading, Speaking & Writing). You will see your child grasping new vocabularies, learn to use their critical thinking in solving every day routines and the benefits go on!
